フェンプロ2.5mg錠には、閉経後女性のホルモン受容体陽性乳がんの治療に一般的に処方されるアロマターゼ阻害剤であるレトロゾールが含まれています。この薬剤は、特定の乳がんの増殖を促進するホルモンであるエストロゲンの産生を抑制することで作用します。
副作用として、疲労、食欲不振、関節痛またはこわばり、吐き気、嘔吐、めまい、下痢、便秘、発汗増加などが挙げられます。これらの症状が持続または悪化する場合は、医師の診察を受けてください。
フェンプロ2.5mg錠は通常、1日1回、食事の有無にかかわらず服用してください。錠剤は水で丸ごと飲み込んでください。割ったり、噛んだり、砕いたりしないでください。毎日同じ時間に服用することで、薬の濃度を一定に保つことができます。医療提供者の指示がない限り、服用を中止しないでください。
レトロゾールにアレルギーがある場合は、この薬を使用しないでください。治療を開始する前に、骨粗鬆症、コレステロール値の上昇、または肝疾患の既往歴がある場合は、医師にお知らせください。フェンプロ2.5mg錠は、妊娠中または授乳中の使用は推奨されません。
