About Indogenmed
Worldwide access to safe, affordable medicine
Indogenmed is a licensed pharmacy exporter based in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We source CDSCO-approved generic medicines directly from certified Indian manufacturers and ship them to patients in more than 180 countries — with the prescription checked by a pharmacist, the batch documented against a certificate of analysis, and the full price published before you pay. No consultation fees, no membership, no markup revealed at the last step.
Who we are
Indogenmed began in 2015 with a single question from a family in Ontario: why does a month of the same molecule cost eleven times more at home than it does in Jaipur? India manufactures roughly a fifth of the world's generic medicines and supplies public health programmes across Africa, Asia and Latin America — yet patients paying privately elsewhere rarely have a lawful, documented way to buy from that supply chain. We built one. Today a small pharmacy team in Rajasthan handles sourcing, prescription review, packing and customs paperwork for patients in more than 180 countries, most of them managing a long-term condition where the difference between list price and generic price decides whether therapy continues at all.
Licensing & compliance
We operate under Indian drug law as a licensed retail and wholesale pharmacy with export permission: Drug Licence 20B and 21B issued by the Rajasthan drug-control authority, GST registration, and an import-export code for pharmaceutical consignments. Every product we list comes from a manufacturer holding a current CDSCO manufacturing licence, and the majority of our suppliers hold WHO-GMP certification for the specific plant that made your batch — several also hold US FDA or EU-GMP approvals for other lines. Certificates are collected against the plant rather than the trading company, diarised by expiry date, and re-verified at every purchase order. Prescription-only medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription; our pharmacist may contact the prescriber before an order is released.
How we ship
Orders leave Jaipur within 24 hours of prescription clearance, in the manufacturer's sealed blister and carton inside a plain outer parcel that carries no pharmacy or product marking. We ship by EMS, DHL, FedEx and USPS depending on destination, with live tracking issued the same day the parcel is handed over — typical transit is four to eight working days, longer where customs inspection is routine. Cold-chain items travel in validated insulated packaging with temperature strips. Tracked shipping is a flat $29 and free above a $300 medicine subtotal. If a parcel is seized, lost or arrives damaged, we reship or refund in full: that guarantee is the reason we publish import guidance for your destination before payment rather than after.
How an order moves
Our commitments
We never ship without a valid prescription
Every prescription-only medicine requires a prescription from a registered practitioner, uploaded before dispatch and reviewed by our pharmacist. We decline orders where the prescription does not match the request, has expired, or cannot be verified — and we do not offer consultations that would let us write one ourselves.
We name the manufacturer on every product
The plant that made your medicine is printed on the product page, the invoice and the carton. Manufacturer directory pages list the licences we hold on file for each site. If we substitute a brand because of a stock-out, you are told which brand and which manufacturer before the order ships.
The price on screen is the price you pay
No consultation fee, no membership, no currency surprise. The medicine subtotal, the $29 tracked shipping charge (free above $300) and the total are all shown before payment, and the invoice itemises any coupon applied.
Your data stays with the order
We collect what a pharmacy needs to dispense and a courier needs to deliver: contact details, delivery address, prescription and payment confirmation. Prescriptions are stored encrypted, are never sold or shared for marketing, and are released only to the processing pharmacy or where law requires it.
If it goes wrong, we fix it
Parcels seized by customs, lost in transit or arriving damaged are reshipped or refunded in full at your choice — the guarantee that lets us publish destination import guidance honestly instead of hiding the risk. Complaints against a batch trigger a hold on the remaining stock of that batch.

Registered details
A note on scope. Indogenmed dispenses against a valid prescription only. We are not a clinic and never advise which medicine you should take, at what dose, or whether to change an existing therapy — those decisions belong to your own prescriber. Personal-import allowances vary by destination and remain the buyer's responsibility; we publish the guidance we hold for each country before payment is taken.
