It works by blocking the action of acetylcholine, a substance in the lungs that causes the airways to narrow. By inhibiting acetylcholine, Tiova Inhaler helps to relax and open up the airways, making it easier to breathe.
This medication is primarily indicated for the long-term, once-daily maintenance treatment of bronchospasm associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema. It is also used to reduce exacerbations in patients with COPD.
The usual dosage for Tiova Inhaler 200mdi is one inhalation once daily. It is important to use this medication regularly as prescribed by your healthcare provider, even if you are feeling well. Do not use it to relieve sudden breathing problems.
