Description
Crizalk 200mg Capsule is a targeted therapy medication used to treat certain types of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and anaplastic lymphoma kinase-positive (ALK-positive) metastatic breast cancer. The active ingredient is Crizotinib, which works by inhibiting specific enzymes (ALK and ROS1) that are involved in the growth and spread of cancer cells. By blocking these enzymes, Crizalk helps to slow down or stop the growth of cancer. It is typically prescribed for patients whose tumors have specific genetic mutations (ALK-positive or ROS1-positive). The usual dosage is 200mg twice daily, taken orally with or without food. However, dosage may be adjusted by a healthcare professional based on individual response and tolerance. Common side effects can include visual disturbances, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, swelling, and elevated liver enzymes. It is important to inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, especially liver or lung problems, and any other medications you are taking. Crizalk 200mg Capsules should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat, and out of reach of children.
