Trombopag 25mg Tablet is a medication containing the active ingredient Eltrombopag. It is primarily used to treat chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in adult patients who have not responded to other treatments like corticosteroids or immunoglobulins. It is also used to treat severe aplastic anemia in adult patients who have not responded to immunosuppressive therapy. Eltrombopag works by stimulating the bone marrow to produce more platelets, which helps to reduce the risk of bleeding. The usual starting dose for chronic ITP is 25mg once daily. For severe aplastic anemia, the starting dose is typically 50mg once daily. It is important to take Trombopag exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Common side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, and fatigue. More serious side effects can occur, so it is crucial to discuss any concerns with your healthcare provider. Trombopag 25mg Tablets should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat, and out of reach of children.
