Description
Ebunat 0.5 mg Injection contains eribulin mesylate 0.5 mg/ml, made by Natco Pharma. Eribulin is a microtubule inhibitor: it stops cancer cells from dividing.
It is used for locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer that has progressed after at least two earlier chemotherapy regimens, including an anthracycline and a taxane, and for some patients with liposarcoma.
It is a prescription-only medicine given intravenously under the supervision of an oncologist, who sets the dose and schedule. The dose may be reduced in patients with kidney or liver problems. Common side effects include low white blood cell counts, tiredness, hair loss, numbness or tingling in the hands and feet, nausea and constipation; blood counts are checked before each dose.
Store as directed on the pack, out of reach of children.
