Fulzos 250mg Injection is a medication containing Fulvestrant as its active ingredient. Fulvestrant is a selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD). It works by binding to estrogen receptors in breast cancer cells, blocking the effects of estrogen, and promoting the degradation of these receptors. This action helps to slow or stop the growth of estrogen-receptor-positive breast cancer.
Fulzos 250mg Injection is indicated for the treatment of hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It is typically used in patients who have progressed on or after antiestrogen therapy.
The usual dosage is 500mg administered as a single intramuscular injection on day 1 of the treatment cycle, followed by 500mg on day 15 and day 29, and then 500mg every 4 weeks thereafter. However, always follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and administration instructions.
Common side effects may include hot flashes, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, pain at the injection site, and liver enzyme abnormalities. Serious side effects are rare but can occur. Consult your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any severe reactions.
Fulzos 250mg Injection should be stored at room temperature (20°C to 25°C or 68°F to 77°F), protected from light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
