Description

Ujvira 100mg Injection is an antiviral medication primarily used in the treatment of Hepatitis B. The active ingredient, entecavir, is a nucleoside analog that works by inhibiting the replication of the Hepatitis B virus (HBV). By blocking the virus’s ability to multiply, Ujvira helps to reduce the viral load in the body, which can lead to improved liver function and a decreased risk of liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. It is typically prescribed for adult patients with chronic Hepatitis B infection who have evidence of viral replication and either liver inflammation or fibrosis. The dosage and duration of treatment are determined by a healthcare professional based on the individual patient’s condition. Common side effects may include headache, fatigue, nausea, and dizziness. Less common but serious side effects can include lactic acidosis and severe liver enlargement. Ujvira 100mg Injection should be stored at room temperature, away from light and moisture, and out of reach of children.
