Description
Sugistran 25mg Capsule is a medication containing the active ingredient Sildenafil Citrate. It belongs to a class of drugs known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Sugistran works by increasing blood flow to specific areas of the body, which can help to achieve and maintain an erection in men with erectile dysfunction. It is also used to treat symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) by relaxing the blood vessels in the lungs, making it easier for the heart to pump blood.
Indications: Sugistran 25mg Capsule is primarily indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. It is also used to improve exercise ability in adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).
Dosage: The typical dosage for erectile dysfunction is 25mg taken as needed, approximately one hour before sexual activity. For PAH, the dosage is usually 20mg three times a day. It is crucial to follow your doctor’s prescribed dosage and not exceed the recommended amount. Do not take Sugistran more than once a day.
Side Effects: Common side effects may include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, visual disturbances (such as changes in color vision or blurred vision), and dizziness. If you experience any severe or persistent side effects, seek medical attention immediately. Serious side effects like priapism (a prolonged erection lasting more than 4 hours) require urgent medical care.
