Introduction to Oxybutynin

Oxybutynin is an anticholinergic medication used to treat overactive bladder, reducing frequent urination and urgency. The U.S. FDA-approved Oxybutynin to treat people with Overactive bladder on February 6, 2002. 

How Oxybutynin Works:

Oxybutynin blocks the action of acetylcholine on smooth muscles, relaxing the bladder and reducing urinary urgency and frequency.

Uses:

Treatment of overactive bladder and urinary incontinence.
