Sotalol is a beta-blocker and antiarrhythmic medication used to treat heart rhythm disorders. The U.S. FDA approved Sotalol on Feb 22, 2000.

How it Works:

Sotalol works by blocking beta-adrenergic receptors and potassium channels, slowing the heart rate and stabilizing abnormal heart rhythms.
