Introduction to Telmisartan :

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB), both used for treating high blood pressure. Telmisartan belongs to the group of medications called angiotensin II receptor antagonists. Cilnidipine belongs to the class of medications called calcium channel blockers. Telmisartan was FDA-approved in 1998, while Cilnidipine is approved in many countries but not by the FDA.

Telmisartan blocks the effects of angiotensin II, reducing blood vessel constriction. Cilnidipine prevents calcium influx into blood vessels, resulting in vasodilation.

Side Effects of Molecule:

Side effects include dizziness, hypotension, headache, and possible hyperkalemia. Rarely, it can cause kidney dysfunction or allergic reactions.
